In Bloomington, the most popular wedding months book up a year or more in advance, so secure the venue first and then the florist, photographer and caterer. Across Illinois, venues may limit open flames, fresh petals on the aisle or outside vendors, so ask for the venue's rules before you plan the flowers. Get every quote in writing with the delivery, setup and teardown times spelled out. Check the listing for hours, the services each business offers and its Google rating.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–7 pm. Bloomington is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bloomington follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Wedding and engagement sessions are a dream to photograph here! Please be sure to get a permit as it allows Ewing to maintain the beautiful grounds we all enjoy. The cost to photograph here is well worth the price. If you also get an opportunity to enjoy the Shakespeare Festival, I highly encourage it! Ewing is a friend of the arts!

This is an amazing old Manor House situated in lovely grounds and surrounded by beautiful gardens that now serves as a culturalcenter. Tours are only offered on Monday so that we, unfortunately, weren't able to see the inside. However, the garden is always open to the public weather permitting. On a tour of the garden there are great views of the exterior of the house. The site is also home to the Annual Illinois Shakespeare Festival.

I photograph weddings all over Illinois and beyond (Ernst Jacobsen Photography) and Ewing Manor is one of my favorite historic wedding venues. The beautiful estate of the late Hazle Buck Ewing comprises the manor itself which provides a gorgeous backdrop for your wedding ceremony, as well as acres of beautiful gardens for pre and post ceremony photo opportunities. If you are looking for a unique, historic venue for your wedding ceremony and/or reception, I highly recommend visiting Ewing Manor.

Came in from out of town and happened upon this place. There was no event going on, but it was still absolutely worth it to just walk around and explore. The whole place is gorgeous, and provides a peaceful walk around the grounds. Definitely a hidden gem in Blo-No!
